Truffles are seasonal produce – the typical months fresh truffles are available from growers are as follows:
- Perigord black truffle – June to August
- Bianchetto truffle – May to September
- Burgundy truffle – January to April
- Winter black truffle – June to August
Weather conditions can bring early or late seasons, and affect truffle availability.
